AI Services and Technology Innovation
The Committee on AI Services and Technology Innovation directs the exploration, evaluation, and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the administrative, technological, and operational systems. The committee ensures that AI-driven innovations are implemented ethically to improve institutional efficiency, enhance user experiences, and foster a forward-thinking, technologically advanced campus environment.
Objectives
- Review the current use of AI in campus services and operations.
- Identify existing gaps and potential opportunities for AI to enhance service delivery, administrative processes, and operational efficiency.
- Propose AI-based tools and innovations that can streamline institutional services and improve decision-making processes.
- Recommend pilots or proofs-of-concept for AI technologies that could modernize areas such as human resources, finance, procurement, and campus security.
- Recommend AI-driven data analytics tools to enhance strategic decision-making, particularly in areas like enrollment management, student retention, financial aid distribution, and alumni relations.
- Propose methods for utilizing AI to extract actionable insights from institutional data, improving overall institutional effectiveness.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies, tools, and trends in higher education and beyond.
- Act as an advisory body to institutional leadership, providing strategic input on the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies that align with the institution’s mission.
