Campus Preparedness
In Fall 2016, Chancellor Timothy White asked each CSU campus to assemble a multi-disciplinary group to “enable campuses to be welcoming crucibles enabling respectful discourse on the social, economic, political and environmental issues of our times, while being clear on the matters of first amendment and academic freedom.”
Fresno State’s Campus Preparedness team meets regularly throughout the year to optimize campus preparedness, planning and response. They discuss upcoming events and known national/state/regional issues that may spur activity, debrief and learn from events and issues in the past and share lessons learned with other campuses in the system.
